In a heartwarming display of investment in young talent, the CEO of Tamale Super Wonder’s, Zakaria Osman, presented his colts team with a winning bonus of GH₵400 after their 1-0 victory against Future Stars Babies in the Sagnarigu Municipal Colts League.
This remarkable gesture has sent shockwaves of excitement throughout the community. Each player received GH₵30, a significant motivator for these young athletes.
Such gestures rare in local football, even at higher levels like Division 3, Division 2, and some Division 1 clubs. The fact that a colts team is receiving winning bonuses demonstrates the seriousness of investments in football and a desire to change the narrative.

According to Mr. Osman, this initiative aims to encourage players to perform well during matches, and training sessions, while also helping them address personal and financial challenges.
“This is to serve as a motivation for the players. Also , it’s about nurturing young talents and grooming future football stars,” Mr. Osman explained.
The players of Super Wonder’s were ecstatic and see this incentive as a motivation to win more games. As the team celebrates this victory, fans and stakeholders alike are taking notice of the positive impact of Mr. Osman’s investment.
This development bodes well for the future of Ghanaian football, and Tamale Super Wonder’s is setting a shining example for other clubs to follow.
