Karela United FC coach, Amadu Nurudeen, has sent a clear message to his team ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League match against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, February 2, 2025. With the team languishing at the bottom of the league table, Coach Nurudeen stressed the importance of securing a win, saying, “We must win at all costs if we hope to escape relegation.”
The team’s recent loss to Asante Kotoko was a setback, but Coach Nurudeen believes they have learned from their mistakes and are now well-prepared to return to winning ways. “We’ve corrected our mistakes, and we’re ready to take on Berekum Chelsea at home,” he noted.
Karela United FC’s current position in the league table makes this match a must-win. With only 14 points from 18 matches, having won just three games and drawn five, the team desperately needs a boost. Coach Nurudeen is calling on the players, management, technical team, and fans to rally behind the team and provide the necessary support and motivation.
The Matchday 19 encounter against Berekum Chelsea will be Coach Nurudeen’s first home game, following two away losses to Kotoko and Nsuatreman FC. A win would be a significant turning point in the team’s season, and Coach Nurudeen is optimistic that his team can rise to the challenge.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
