The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has completed its nationwide voter album verification and validation exercise ahead of its presidential primaries on January 31, 2026.

Committee Chair Joseph Osei-Owusu said at a briefing in Accra that the exercise covered all 275 constituencies and external branches. He assured that the validated album will serve as the official register for the polls. He announced that aspirants will receive the provisional voter register on November 13, 2025, and given two weeks to verify and provide feedback.

“The nationwide voter album verification and validation exercise has been successfully concluded. In the interest of transparency and fairness, all aspirants will be furnished with the provisional voter register on Thursday, November 13, 2025, for verification and feedback,” he stated.

Mr. Osei-Owusu noted that minor administrative issues detected during the process are being corrected, adding that names of deceased members and those who forfeited membership have been removed.

Five individuals have been cleared to contest for the NPP flagbearer position: Kennedy Ohene Agyapong , Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
