Karela United Football Club has announced the mutual termination of Assistant Coach Abubakari Damba’s contract, effective immediately.
This decision was made after careful consideration by the club’s management and board, following the team’s recent poor performance in the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season.
The club expressed gratitude for Coach Damba’s service and commitment to the team, but stated that a change was necessary to achieve their goals.
“We appreciate Coach Damba’s contributions to Karela United FC and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” the club stated.
It’s understood that the club has also parted ways with Jimmy James Corbllah, the Head after poor start to the season which saw Karela United finding it difficult to win games both home and away.
Karela United are currently 15th on the Ghana Premier League log with just 14 points after 16 round of games.
