RTU Seek to Boost Attacking Prowess with January Signings
Real Tamale United (RTU) assistant coach, Sham-Unah, has identified the team’s lack of clinical finishers upfront as their major challenge. To address this issue, the coach plans to bolster the existing forwards with two or three top-notch players in the January transfer window.

“Our major problem is the goal scoring. You could see that at the beginning, the goals were coming, but now we’re struggling. So, we look forward to getting players with an eye for goal and clinical finishing to boost our forward line,” Coach Sham-Unah explained in an interview with Zangali Sports.
The team’s struggles in front of goal have been evident, and the addition of skilled players could make a significant difference in their performance. Currently, RTU is joint league leader in the Division One League Zone 1A with 25 points after Match week 10, tied with Tamale City.

With the right signings, RTU could potentially turn their season around and achieve their goals. The January transfer window is expected to be a busy period for RTU as they seek to strengthen their squad and overcome their current challenges.
Coach Sham-Unah’s plan to bring in fresh talent is a clear indication of the team’s determination to succeed and qualify back to the Ghana Premier League. “We plan to sign 2 or 3 players before the window closes. But like I said, our focus is on the attack,” he added.
As the transfer window is active, RTU fans will be eagerly waiting to see which players will join the team. One thing is certain – with the right signings, RTU could become an unstoppable force in the Division One League.
