LYNGBY BOLDKLUB FC FORWARD ABDUL MALIK ABUBAKARI DONATES TO ALMA MATER

Tamale-born Ghanaian international Abdul Malik Abubakari has made a significant donation to his former school, SDA Main Primary and KG, in Tamale.

The Lyngby Boldklub FC forward presented the school with learning materials, sports equipment, and a commemorative plaque. Abubakari expressed his desire to give back to the institution that played a significant role in his early development.

“I want to inspire the younger generation to dream big and work hard towards achieving their goals,” Abubakari said during the presentation ceremony. “I believe that every child deserves access to quality education and opportunities to develop their talents.”

Representing the Tamale Metro Director, Mr. Maleek Musah, received the donation and thanked Abubakari for his kind gesture. “I want to thank Malik for this donation, and also call on other professionals to come back and inspire the young ones,” Musah said.

The assistant headmistress of SDA Main Primary and KG, on behalf of the school staff and students, expressed gratitude to Abubakari for his visit and donation. “On behalf of the staff, I thank Mr. Malik for remembering us today,” she said. “But I want him to know that the school remains the same as it was when you were here. We face problems ranging from furniture, computers, football equipment, and many others. So we still need more of your support to overcome them.”

Abubakari, who plays for Lyngby Boldklub in the Danish Superliga, has made 13 appearances for his club this season. He has consistently demonstrated his support for Northern Ghana, and his donation to his alma mater is a testament to his commitment to giving back to his community.
