The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially unveiled the fixtures for the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League (WPL), setting the stage for another exciting season of women’s football.

The league will kick off on the weekend of October 31 to November 3, 2025, and is scheduled to conclude on the weekend of April 24 to 27, 2026. A total of 20 clubs, split evenly between the Northern and Southern Zones, will compete across 180 matches, with each team expected to play 18 league games.
Reigning champions Police Ladies begin the season with the challenge of defending their crown, while former winners Ampem Darkoa Ladies are widely tipped to be their strongest challengers. The battle for supremacy is expected to be fierce, as both experienced campaigners and newcomers take to the pitch with renewed ambition.
This season also welcomes four newly promoted clubs
Northern Zone: Northern City Ladies FC and Ashtown Ladies
Southern Zone: Oak Ladies and Samartex Ladies
