Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak are on the cusp of securing the services of experienced Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso. According to multiple Reports, The 34-year-old is expected to join the Phobians on a short-term deal, bolstering their squad for the second half of the season.
Wakaso, renowned for his tenacious playing style and exceptional passing range, has been without a club since parting ways with Chinese Super League side Shenzhen FC in January 2024.
The seasoned midfielder boasts an impressive resume, having played for top European clubs like Villarreal, Espanyol, Celtic FC, and Deportivo Alaves. His wealth of international experience, including 70 appearances for the Black Stars, will undoubtedly bring much-needed quality and leadership to the Hearts team.
